The collection is produced by Professional Storyteller Kevin D. Cordi who says, "This collection is trying to tell the story, with song and story, of stories that are not in the modern media. Every day we are bombarded with stories about war and we only hear one side. We are daily blasted with stories about killing. This is not only during the war, but in our streets and even in our schools. We need to listen to the other side of the story so that we can examine the choices that are offered by peaceful action."

This is a story written by well-known graphic artist and author of Coraline, and Mirror Mask. It is a Neil Gaiman story. The story is sure to keep you wondering about the nature of chivalry. This collection explores the stories that Kevin has heard from performing in 25 states and England. It celebrates the personal tales from his family living room as a child to a wonderful romantic tale in Japan. A rich and diverse collection of tales that is insightful and entertaining.

On this CD, Storytelling World Award winner and nationally-known storyteller and teacher Kevin D. Cordi chronicles stories given or told to Cordi as far as Japan and as close as his current home in Ohio. Cordi has traveled collecting stories from 25 states, Japan, and England. The stories include stories of his own grandmother to a story from a Japanese Elder named Hiroko Fujita entitled "The Whispering Bridge of Fukushima."

Also on this CD is the story called "The Rose Tattoo." If you are looking for a story that will help teenagers or even adults think about their choices, this story will suit the purpose. It is a story about a teacher in training who had a troubled past and had to spend time in jail. The story is about the surprise tattoo he received in jail. The CD is graphically illustrated as fragmented puzzle pieces, which come together to reveal elements in the story, including a picture of Cordi s grandmother as the cover piece.
